Background: In recognition of Career & Technical Education month the students and staff at Lake Career & Technical Center would like to take a moment to show their appreciation to the Board of Education for their continued support. LCTC students will be presenting on behalf of Career & Technical Education Month.

B. CTA/MSTA UPDATE
Background: David Swantner, Camdenton Teachers Association President, will be in attendance to provide a short update on CTA and MSTA (Mo. State Teachers Association) activities to the Board.

A. 2017-2018 CALENDAR HEARING
CAMDENTON R-III SCHOOL DISTRICT NOTICE OF HEARING:
A hearing will be held on the 2017-2018 school year calendar at the Board of Education meeting on February 13, 2017, at 5:30 p.m., Administration Building Board Room, 172 Dare Blvd, Camdenton, MO 65020. Citizens may be heard on the proposed school starting date of more than ten days prior to the first Monday in September.
Background: In accordance with State law, any School District starting school prior to ten days before the first Monday in September (Labor Day) must hold a public hearing. Publication of the hearing was printed in the local newspaper and sent to local radio stations. Please find attached a couple draft 2017-2018 calendar options.

Background: A few adjustments need to be made to line items regarding fuel, professional services, repairs, and supplies in the Maintenance Department. These adjustments are expense neutral.

E. *Approve Nichols Road Easement for City of Osage Beach Sidewalk ProjectBackground: The City of Osage Beach is constructing sidewalks along Nichols Road. These sidewalks would be a benefit to our students and patrons accessing Osage Beach Elementary. Please find attached information related to this easement. C. 2017-2018 PERSONNEL NEEDS REPORT
Background: Dr. Ryan Neal will present the 2017-2018 Personnel Needs Report. This report will provide student/teacher ratios in each building and provide recommendations concerning certified and classified staff as requested by building and program administrators.

D. PATRON PANEL UPDATE
Background: Dr. Hadfield will update the Board on the recent Patron Panel meeting.

Background: The board will discuss possible field turf replacement and scoreboard replacement at Bob Shore Stadium. The subcommittee has met and will present possible next steps.
