Oak Ridge Intermediate has school wide Title I status, which provides necessary resources to meet the needs of all of the students attending Oak Ridge. This is a huge boost for academic intervention and learning support. The Title I teachers time is split between classroom and reading lab intervention. Students receive instructional support and enjoy the benefit of increased small group and individual learning time. Our goal is to strengthen students' basic reading skills so that they may independently apply effective reading and writing strategies.
