• The Mathematics Program supports the district mission by enabling students to do the following:

    *analyze, organize, and evaluate information using a variety of techniques;

    *determine patterns and how they related to information found in daily life;

    *understand the significant vocabulary processes, facts, concepts, principles, theories, and laws of mathematics as means to communicate effectively;

    *work individually or as a group to formulate and apply appropriate strategies to solve past or current social or environmental problems or to prevent potential problems;

    *analyze and evaluate the results of the solution to consider whether the solutionaddresses the problem to which it was applied;

    *make informed, reasonable, and responsible decisions by analyzing data encountered in everyday life;

    *identify and analyze data and the effects it has on the local, national, and international level.
