Teacher of the Week 3-24-17

Whitney Carnahan, art teacher at Hawthorn Elementary, has been named Camdenton School District Teacher of the Week.  Whitney has stepped up to lead the Hawthorn staff in our implementation of the Leader in Me process.  She has given tremendous time and energy to live the 7 Habits as a model to both students and teachers, she gives her talent to create an attractive, inviting school climate and atmosphere, and she helps lead our Lighthouse team.  Mrs. Carnahan has grown leaps and bounds in her leadership capacity and as such her circle of influence has grown in proportion.  Whitney also teaches art part time at Dogwood Elementary.  Teacher of the Week is sponsored by Smith Law Firm and recognizes teachers for positive contributions made to the Camdenton students and District.
