Bids were due February 20th at 9:00 a.m. A bid summary was reviewed. The poured in place quote from Taylormade Company was recommended for acceptance.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
MSBA’S OUTSTANDING BOARD OF EDUCATION AWARD
The Board has the opportunity to submit an application for MSBA’s Outstanding Boards of Education Award which provides a chance to encourage effective board practices and recognizes outstanding board performance in the following categories aligned with the Missouri Public Education Vision Project: Teaching, Learning and Assessment; Human and Organizational Capital; Climate, Culture and Organizational Efficacy; School Finance Resources; Physical and Environmental Resources; and Governance, Leadership and Accountability.
The Board has taken this under consideration since the last meeting and selected Physical and Environmental Resources as the category in which to submit. Applications are due March 13th.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
In compliance with State Statute 610.021 (closed meetings and closed records), the Board went into Executive Session for the following purposes:
1) Leasing, purchase or sale of real estate by a public governmental body (610.021)(2).
2) Hiring, firing, disciplining, or promoting particular employees (610.021)(3).
3) Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings, or records pertaining to employees (610.021)(13).

STAFF SURVEY UPDATE
The Board reviewed information from the recent staff survey, conducted as a result of the July 2014 Board Goals. This data will be utilized as the Board plans for the future.
