CONSENT ITEMS

A.     Accept Bus Bid

Strategic Plan Goal Area - Governance

            The Board reviewed a bid for a bus to replace our bus that was damaged when a driver hit a culvert. Our insurance company totaled the bus with a $1,000 deductible. We would like to equip the new bus with equipment to assist with handicapped students. This is an additional cost but we are checking additional funding sources with the Department of Interventions.

B.    Accept Bid for Roof Replacement Projects

Strategic Plan Goal Area - Governance

            The Board reviewed a summary for the roof replacement at Horizons, two ticket booths, and the Middle School fascia. The bid from Ellerman Construction, LLC for $12,418 was recommended. 

The Board approved consent items as presented.

EXECUTIVE SESSION

In compliance with State Statute 610.021 (closed meetings and closed records), the Board went into Executive Session for the following purposes:

1)     Hiring, firing, disciplining, or promoting particular employees (610.021)(3).

2)     Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings, or records pertaining to employees (610.021)(13).
