    VI.       EXECUTIVE SESSION

    In compliance with State Statute 610.021 (closed meetings and closed records), move that the Board go into Executive Session for the following purposes:

    1)    Legal actions, causes of action or litigation involving a public governmental body and any confidential or privileged communications between a public governmental body or its representatives and its attorneys (610.021)(1).

    2)    Lease, purchase, or sale of real estate (610.021)(2).

    3)    Hiring, firing, disciplining, or promoting particular employees (610.021)(3).

    4)    Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings, or records pertaining to employees (610.021)(13).

     

    VII.      OPEN SESSION        

    A.          ANCILLARY PRODUCTS AND HEALTH INSURANCE

    Background:  The Board will review information regarding voluntary insurance products for staff along with information regarding Board-paid life insurance.  David Von Gunten will be in attendance to answer Board member questions.

     

                B.        SET CERTIFIED SALARY SCHEDULE FOR 2012-2013 & MODIFY

                            ADDITIONAL CREDIT HOUR REQUIREMENTS

    Background:  Administrators and the Salary Committee have met.  A recommended salary schedule for 2012-2013 will be presented along with proposed administrative salaries.  Also, administration recommends placing a moratorium on the practice of freezing staff members on the salary schedule if they do not pick up eight hours of credit within each five-year interval as required by GCBA-R, Professional Staff Salary Schedules.
